The classic butterfly logo has been the most popular so it seemed obvious to be the first logo to rise again. The loose handwriting and stretched out butterfly symbolized freedom for me.

Starting a BMX bicycle company at 19 and wrestling with squared fonts just wasn’t working. I found some sketches I’d done while Cycle Craft was welding the first batch of prototypes and the butterfly must have just happened on the page, it just seemed to fit.

“Since 1991” is a tongue-in-cheek bit of a joke but hey I love shirts with more meaning beneath the surface, if you’ve watched 30 Bikes you understand.

Represent proudly and go chase your dreams - you never know where they’ll lead.
